What is this course about?


"How to think like a black Jew" is a seven series 84 class course curriculum. Giving a in-depth analysis of Jewish Orthodox Outlook in conjunction with the African American Experience. The course curriculum will address issues such as ethnic diversity of thought in Orthodox Judaism, Symmetry between Jewish and African American thought as it relates to topics like social justice, slavery segregation, fight for equality etc. 


Also, the student will receive personal tools dating back in the Jewish tradition for thousands of years. Tools of information such as: Why did Gd create me, according to the wisdom of the Torah? How to spiritually recreate myself? How to find my purpose in this lifetime? How do I gain a Spiritual understanding of (Black History) adversity, challenges and triumphs of African-Americans through the lenses of the Torah and its Sages?
